Roy & Associates was founded in 1981 by Adrien (Joe) Roy, Jr., CPA.

Roy & Associates, CPAs strives to provide the highest quality tax, audit, consulting, and bookkeeping services available. Our firm does more than taxes and audits, we also strive to assist in our clients success as advisors, not only in tax matters, but in all aspects of their business. As consultants, we assist our clients with major business decisions and planning for the future.

Although our client base is most heavily concentrated in the greater Bangor area, our clientele' extends throughout Maine, New Hampshire, Massachusetts, Connecticut, Washington, Missouri, and Arizona. Our geographical coverage continues to spread as our clients relocate and follow new opportunities abroad. The firm’s objectives are to:

  • Provide high-quality accounting, auditing, federal and state tax, and management advisory services to progressive organizations.
  • Help each client reach maximum potential and efficiency through effective accounting, financial, and management consulting services.
  • Develop areas of concentration within the firm such as audits of governmental units and federal and state programs.
  • Be actively involved in professional business, community, and civic affairs.

In order to achieve these goals, Roy & Associates seeks to grow through a balanced combination of expanded service to present clients and selective addition of new clients on a regular basis. Our commitment to community involvement is accomplished through membership in various civic and professional organizations. Members of the firm serve in active leadership capacities such as:
