Adrien (Joe) Roy, Jr., CPA

Joe is a graduate of Husson College in Bangor, Maine receiving his BS in Accounting in 1974.  Joe founded the firm in 1981 and continues to oversee the firms audit, accounting, tax and consulting practice.

Joe is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the Maine Society of Ceritified Public Accountants.  Joe is licensed to practice in Maine, New Hampshire and Connecticut.  Other interests include co-owning and managing a professional office building, the Bangor Noon-time Rotary Club and serving as the director of a local HUD Assisted Eldery Housing Project.

Joe enjoys spending time with his wife Debbie, traveling, downhill skiing and an occasional round of golf.

Jason T. Roy, CPA

Jason received his BS degree in Public Accounting from Husson College in Bangor, Maine in 1997, as well as his Associates Degree in Business Management from the University of Maine, in Orono in 1995 and his CPA Certificate in February of 2001. Jason also holds his Series 7, 66, and Life, Health, and Variable Contract insurance licenses.

Jason is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, the Maine Society of Certified Public Accountants and the Business Networking International Bangor Breakfast Chapter. Jason is licensed to practice in Maine and Connecticut.

Jason has been with the firm for over twelve years including two years while attending college. In these years he has gained substantial knowledge in taxation, small business accounting & consulting and auditing.

Jason was selected in 2002 by the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants as one of the handful of CPA's chosen to assist with the writing and evaluating standards to be used for future CPA examinations.

Jason resides in Bangor with his wife Kelli and daughters Jasmine & Gabrielle. Jason's interests include golf, skiing, weight training and investing.

Debbie Roy

Debbie joined the firm in 1981 after having financial positions in banking, papermaking and healthcare industries.  As the firm’s Data Processing Manager, she oversees the firm's small business accounting department. Debbie became a Quickbooks Pro Advisor in 1999 and has extensive experience in setting up bookkeeping systems for our varied small business clients.  Types of industries she has assisted include healthcare, food, retail, rental, collections, attorneys, and non-profits.

Debbie has many interests, including serving as past treasurer of the Brewer Kiwanis Club, treasurer and director of Northeast Occupational Exchange and past treasurer of Tuesday Forum, a professional women’s club. Debbie enjoys traveling, the ocean, arts and crafts, painting, and spending time with her family and husband Joe at their home in Orrington.

 

Lyndsey Camick

Lyndsey is a 2005 graduate of the University of Maine at Machias with a B.S. degree in accounting, and is currently working on her Master of Science in Business at Husson University with a projected completion date of December 2009. She began her career at Roy & Associates in December of 2007 and has gained experience in individual and corporate taxation, small business accounting, auditing, and non-profit services. While at the University of Maine she participated in Volunteer Income Tax Assistance Program. Lyndsey is from Eastport, the eastern most city in the United States, and enjoys spending time with family and friends. In her spare time you can find her at one of the hockey rinks cheering for her nephew.

 

Matthew Ceban

Matthew is a 2007 graduate of Husson College with a B.S. degree in Accounting, and an M.B.S. in Business. Matthew began his accounting career in Southern Maine and became a part of Roy & Associates in May, 2010. Matthew has experience in individual and corporate taxation, small business accounting, auditing, and non-profit services. Matthew is originally from Fairfield, Maine, though he spent much of his time in Presque Isle during the summers with his Aunt and Uncle. During his free time Matthew enjoys relaxing with his family, lifting weights, and playing golf.

 

Eva Howlett

Eva joined Roy & Associates in May, 2005 as an administrative assistant. She is currently enrolled at Beal College with a double major in Accounting and Business Management. She aspires to further her education at the University of Maine, Orono with a Master of Science in Accounting. Eva lives in Old Town with her three children. In her spare time she spends time with family and friends and enjoys watching her children’s sporting events and school activities.

 

Joy Sinclair

Joy is a 2005 graduate of the University of Maine at Orono with a BA in Psychology and has vast experience in Administrative and Clerical fields. Joy plays a key role in most of the firm’s services, and is likely the first point of contact for most needs. Joy’s many interests include music, traveling, creating jewelry and art, enjoying the sunshine, and spending time with friends and family.
